Senior Informatica ETL Developer/ Project Specialist, Full time, Boston, MA

Our client, a major Boston HealthCare Institution, is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Informatica ETL Developer to assist in the build-out of data warehouse and business intelligence applications using Informatica, Oracle, and BI tools such as Business Objects and MicroStrategy.

The incumbent will join at an exciting time when data analysis needs are becoming paramount to the successful migration from a fee for service model in health care to a quality model, under the recent health care reform initiatives. Responsibilities for this position include analyzing business requirements, both documented and undocumented, and designing, developing, and unit testing integration solutions to meet hospital data needs for clinical operations, finance, and administrative data analysis. The incumbent will write source to target mapping specifications which clearly specify the purpose and transformation logic of each mapping, following existing standards and conventions. The Informatica developer will use available tools in the Informatica framework such as PowerCenter, Metadata Manager, PowerExchange, Data Quality, and other tools to develop data integration mappings from source systems into the data warehouse, as well as within the data warehouse environment. The developer will need to troubleshoot any issues or bugs discovered either during the course of a project or ongoing business support. PHP Web Developer

Oracle Senior Functional Analyst

The Oracle Functional Analyst Senior will work with other internal support and delivery teams as well as our internal clients to provide the highest standard of support for both custom and out of the box Oracle ERP application solutions.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Provide day to day support and troubleshooting of user and financial application problems for a specific area of expertise (role based security and user provisioning).
  • Perform Tier 2 & 3 functional support for oracle financial application issues - logging, tracking and escalating issues in accordance with procedures.

UI Developer

Our client, a world-class educational institution, is looking for a User Experience Designer.

Responsibilities:
  • The User Experience Designer will work in a large educational-technology setting to plan, design, code and test the user workflows, behaviors and interfaces of web-based applications. This role will work to understand the needs of an application's users and translate that knowledge into the creation of workflows and experiences that promote learning, with special emphasis on usability. As a member of the User Experience & Interaction team, this candidate works closely with product management, programmers and other designers to translate product requirements into highly usable web applications using cutting edge technology. The UX Designer must be comfortable addressing a complex and diverse set of interaction problems, and researching and/or developing new solutions to design/technology challenges.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of web development experience with web based applications or highly interactive web sites is required, plus at least 3 years of experience designing significantly complex UI designs for web applications. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:
  • In-depth knowledge of User Experience Design principles, Human Factors, Human and User-Centered Design Processes, Interaction Design guidelines, Usability Testing Methodologies, web-industry standards and trends, platform standards, software development process, and prototyping/design
